Dragonfight

I drawed this picture for the august competition of the group TheDragonChallenge.
I tried to show the emotions rage (obviously that red/black dragon) and devotion (the feathery-dragon trying to protect the other injuried dragon though the red one is much bigger / dangerous etc).
I hope one can more or less recognize these emotions

i also wanted to tell something like the two dragons in the front happily living there, but then the big black dragon likes the crystals and such so he wants to get it and get the other two away, any way to do so is welcome.... or something like that.

I don't exactly *love* it because i wasn't able to finish it, for example i wanted to draw real fire around that blue, lava-lamp-like thing that comes out of the black-dragon's mouth, or the blue feathers of the other dragon arn't drawn, it doesn't even has shadows O.o
but I'm still very proud of it. I only found the contest 5 days ago, and ever since i have done nothing else than painting on it @.@ the last two days i really had to restrain myself from ripping it apart >.<
first two days were the sketch alone (the perspective was silly chosen, these feather-wings almost killed me!), the following two days were the rocks of the cave. it was the first (and last) time I've ever drawn a cave. bah! it needed *forever*!
it was also my first time drawing crystals, but i do like these
so please have mercy with a little girl and try not to crash all her optimism by telling her all the mistakes... >.>

also I'm sorry for the bad quality of the photo, as i said i had no time left, and so i just took a picture of it and uploaded that :/ well the results are visible... x.X
